With only eight lodges, four bungalows and six static caravans, Ruthern Valley offers space and privacy. Unlike some other parks where you will find row upon row of tents and tourers, the campsite of only twenty nine pitches is spread over four natural areas.

Ruthern Valley offers excellent facilities on site, including a fully equipped children,s play area, where kids can play in safety and well away from the accommodation. The shop stocks all essentials and ample supplies of groceries, and there is a shower block and laundry available for use. There is also a public telephone on site.

It is an ideal location for quiet, peaceful holidays thoughout the year, with the park taking on different colours and moods of the changing seasons. Its central location is ideal for those wishing to enjoy walking, water sports, horse riding or fishing and the many beaches, resorts and attractions of Cornwall are all within easy reach. Both north and south coasts are only thirty minutes away by car and superb family days out can be enjoyed at the nearby Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and many National Trust properties.

Walking is particularly good here and the Camel Trail, a combined foot and cycle path stretching some sixteen miles along the river Camel, from Bodmin Moor to Padstow, is only three quarters of a mile away from the park.
